The pier at the Crannog Restaurant, Middle Street, Middle Street Car Park and West End Car Park are likely to be affected by flooding. Properties on Middle Street and Linnhe Road may be at risk of flooding. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide which is at 19:45 on Sunday 20th October.

Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide from 05:30 to 07:30 [GMT] on Wednesday 22nd March.

An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Fort William.
Tides will be higher than usual due to a storm surge and will be combined with very strong South Westerly winds. The predicted tides are the highest forecast since 2005. The worst conditions are expected for a few hours around the time of the high tide Monday evening and Tuesday morning. If you are in an area that was known to be affected in the January 2005 event then you should be prepared for the potential for some impacts from flooding.
Flooding from the sea and large waves is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the coastline in Fort William. The pier at the Crannog Restaurant, Middle Street, Middle Street Car Park and West End Car Park are likely to be affected by flooding. Properties on Middle Street and Linnhe Road may also be at risk of flooding.
Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide from 20:00 on Monday evening and 08:00 on Tuesday morning. This warning has been updated to provide further information in context of past flooding in this area.
